Emma's Brand - Odacite
Paris-born Valerie Grandury started Odacite (a French play on the word "audacity") in 2009 after being diagnosed with breast cancer. She was told that her chances of surviving 5 years were very low. That was the wake up call she needed- she completely changed her lifestyle to remove all toxins from her life. She quit her job and became a health & wellness coach, took up a raw vegan diet, and started doing yoga and meditation daily. 11 years on, she is not only still here, but cancer-free!
Valerie wanted her skincare to be efficacious but also pure, but couldn't find this on the market at the time. She started custom blending her own skincare for herself and a few private clients, but word soon spread and demand grew- and Odacite was born!
You can read a very interesting interview with Valerie here, where she speaks more in depth about her lifestyle and how she manages her schedule and keeping stress levels down:

About the products and how to use:
The "O" in Odacite stands for Organic- all the Odacite products are organic and made in California where Valerie now lives. They are also vegan, PETA certified cruelty-free, and free of parabens, synthetic fragrance, fillers, dyes and petrochemicals.
Due to there being no filler ingredients, the serum/oils are highly concentrated with actives and therefore only need to be used 2-3 drops at a time, either neat or mixed with other products such as the Oleosome Time Release Delivery Creme. Think of your collection of Odacite serums a bit like your make-up bag, you might want to put on different things on different days depending on how you feel and what your skin's needs are, it doesn't have to be the same every day.

My top 3 faves:
G+L Radiance Effect

I've never shown this to someone and they haven't bought it. It has the most uplifting and invigorating aroma of lemongrass, which is known in aromatherapy to relieve tension. Sometimes if it's a stressful day at work and very busy I will have a quick sniff and it calms me down straight away!
This serum will improve the skin's radiance and brightness, and is rich in anti-oxidants, making it a good choice for all skin types and all ages. If a customer is confused by all the choices and doesn't know which serum/oil to go for, I would show them this one, as it's a great all-rounder. Who doesn't want radiance?!

Synergie Powder Mask
This has EVERYTHING you could ever want in a mask:
Charcoal and clay for detoxifying, fruit enzymes for a peel effect, vitamin C for brightening and firming, plus probiotics to provide the skin with the nourishment it needs to appear youthful.
It won't go off, as it's in a powder format, and is activated by adding water or other ingredients. You can even have a dig around in your kitchen cupboard and create your own recipes- you can mix it with apple cider vinegar, turmeric, lemon juice, yoghurt or honey. Such good value because it lasts forever!
Gua Sha in Rose Quartz

Gua Shas have been used for centuries in Chinese medicine to firm the skin's natural contours and awaken the skins natural glow. It's a great way to get the blood circulation going in the morning and have a quiet moment of mindfulness and self-care.
Rose Quartz is the crystal of self-love, and encourages compassion, tenderness, forgiveness and comfort.
Use it to massage the skin outwards and upwards after a few drops of your chosen serum/oil have been applied. See it as a tool that takes your skincare beyond just skincare, and into more of a holistic experience and self-love ritual.
