Diptyque was founded in 1961 by 3 friends- a painter, a fabric designer and an interior designer. Their first shop was on 34 Boulevard St. Germain, Paris, which remains as the flagship store today.

The fragrance 34 was created to replicate the unique smell of the inside of the store- it is incredibly complex with 100+ ingredients!

Diptyque is gender-free.

Diptyque Christmas Collection- Lucky Charms

Designed by Olaf Hajek, a German artist whos illustrations are full of "naive" art- ancient myths, legends and folk tales represented in a child-like and magical way. 

Each Diptyque candle depicts "wish trees" with lucky charms and animals hidden in the branches, each carrying a message. 

The transition from one year to the next is the time to exhange best wishes for the future, which makes these the perfect gift for Christmas!

Candle Care & Advice

300g (Large) burns for 75 hours

190g (Medium size) burns for 60 hours

70g (Small) burns for 20 hours

First burning time should be 2 hours

Cut the wick short and re-centre everytime before burning

Please advise the customer on the above to help them get the best out of their candle and avoid returns. If you don't have time to advise them then let them know there's a leaflet inside with instructions they should read!

The candles are made from mineral wax (paraffin), vegetal was and oil, vaseline and fragrance
